Bibliometrics is the use of statistical analyses to study publication patterns. The Technical Library uses data from Thomson Reuters (formerly known as ISI) that assists you in determining a journal's impact factor, finding highly cited authors in a field, performing citation analysis on PNNL articles, etc.

Journal Citation Reports (JCRWeb Science Edition)

Journal Citation Reports Science Edition (JCR) is a resource tool for evaluating and comparing over 5,900 scholarly journals in 171 disciplines. This database offers journal rankings based on impact factor, immediacy index, and cited half-life.

Essential Science Indicators

Essential Science Indicators (ESI) enables researchers to conduct quantitative analyses of research performance and track trends in science. The multidisciplinary coverage consists of 8,500 journals from around the world. This tool offers data for ranking scientists, institutions, countries, and journals.

Thomson Reuters' InCites

You may already have set yourself up with a Google Scholar profile or ResearcherID either of which allows you to view your H-index and citation trends.
